starting college for vet tech:) what should i bring to the dorms etc?

Im going to be attending DCCC in dodge city KS this january to take my generals for vet tech, and then enter in the vet tech program probably in curtis, NE.

What supplies or dorm things will I need or should I bring?

I don't know about DCCC but for college in general...
Check if your dorms will have AC - if not, BRING LOTS OF FANS. I ended up having like, 3 in my room because the first 4 weeks at school were BRUTAL (hot summer + living on the top floor of a really old building)

I used this website a lot (and the app) when I was making my various lists of packing stuff. It's pretty comprehensive.

Also - assuming you find out who your roommate is ahead of time, collaborate with them so you don't end up with 2 of everything (dorms are small, so it's best to divide and conquer and save space. ALSO, lots of storage things)

I brought a lock box, and ended up using it for my important stuff. :) I had a roommate with pretty sticky hands.

Also, my dorms had cinder block walls, so I brought lots of sticky tack and it was pretty helpful for hanging up pictures.

off the topic, both of your profile photos are beautfiul:)

I deffinately am bringing a small fan that's for sure, but since the school is actually about 6 hours from where I live, I havent visited or seem the dorms so that part sucks im not sure what walls I have or what my "space" looks like so im at a downfall there gahh, I could ask housing but they are on break until the 2nd.

Non perishable food because sometime cafe food sucks LOL

Congrats! In liue of my accident I almost went back to school for this, but I'm leaning towards land reclamation.
College was an absolute blast for me! Although, perhaps I had a little TOO much fun...LOL

Snacks and non perishables for sure! It's like eating at a hospital.
I always brought books to read for my down time, lap top of course! Music, my pads/pencils for drawing. Laundry soap, towels, soap, shampoo, etc.
Good studying skills and lots of patience.
