Update on my Working Student position

I haven't been on horse forum in a while! But I've been living in Mississippi for almost two months now, and I absolutely love my job! I'm working at a small lesson barn with an incredible instructor who has trained in Europe, the middle east, and Africa. I help handle the day to day barn stuff, get two lessons a week, ride daily, and take care of the barn when my boss travels. The riding is a little bit of everything. I'm being instructed in English, while working on my Western in my own time, plus learning how to drive! They also feed me and kind of took me in as their 'other daughter'. So it's going well! I have a blog I've just started, leahsbarnlife.blogspot.com, for anyone who wants to follow my adventure in Mississippi and afterwards as I work toward a training career. Plus one of the horses here will most likely be coming home with me back to NH next year! He is a 16 yo Appy, and so well behaved. I'll post more about him later. I wanted to have this thread to update anyone who was curious, and if there are any people looking to start an equine career, PM me and I'll be happy to share more of my story!
