Smile Wanting to Work

Hello,
I am a young girl who WANTS to work with horses to earn money for college.

I will be in ninth grade this following school year.

When I turn 16(two more years), I will have the freedom to work with horses.
My dream has always been to work with horses, but being a special education teacher, my other dream, suits me fine.

I am going to get my degree in Special Education, but before I go to college, I really want to get my year(s) worth in horses.

If there is anywhere you would like a strong, hard-working girl, please I would like to work. I understand that stable work is hard because I have mucked many stalls! :)
Thank you.

I am who I truly am when I am in the SADDLE

One of the things we are expanding into at our farm is riding for autistic children. We have a handful of kids now whose parents pay for lessons but we want to expand and be able to do some grant writing for funding to subsidize more kids riding.

I know you are still young, but depending on your location, perhaps you could do a summer apprenticeship here at our farm and part of your day would be dedicated to helping get this program off the ground. It would look great on your college applications to have been a key part in something like that.

You can PM me here or email me brevardec@aol.com if you're interested! Of course we would also need to speak with your parents if we get that far...

Oh, YES! I am very good with Autistic children because my little four-year-old brother is Autistic. I work with two Autistic children a week.

I am in Centeral Il, but I Will speak with my parents and see what they say!
Thank you.

Oh ,yes. That would be awesome. Of course my riding needs a little bit of help because after we had to sell our Mustang Paint mare (the best horse in the world) I didn't ride for a few years and I try to go to my friend's house and ride.

But today was the first day I have been able to ride this year an late last year! :)
My little brother is Autistic and I work with three children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) a week .
I will talk to my parents ASAP and see what they think! That would be the most exciting thing ever for me! :)
