Talking ***Champion!!**

Ok I couldn't help myself, I had to share with all of you on here They just posted the year end results for the Mini Trial series my mare and I did this summer, and we found out we are CHAMPION of our division!!

We were in the Very Green Rider division...not too shabby for our second year ever showing/jumping ;) I love this mare!

Here is a video of the past year learning to jump and then showing together...it seems like just yesterday I was scared to go over a pole on the ground and my girl was charging at the tiny cross rails like a freight train at a trot going 50 mph...*sigh* lol

Thanks!! I can't wait to see the ribbon -- they have to mail it to us! I think I'm going to do one of those photos with all of her series ribbons on the one rein and her wearing the Champion ribbon when it gets here and I'll post our "show" pic on here ;) So fun, I always thought when I got her that I was just going to use her to bump around on trails...I never DREAMED either of us would be showing, let alone PLACING! We were both so green when we started together, it's been SUCH a joy learning with her!

I don't remember if those were 5 or 6 foot standards. But, I will give you a hint that many don't want you to hear. Those big jumps are easier than you think. Sometimes I would rather jump a 5 foot fence than a 3 foot fence.

I can see you getting pretty big someday. You have what it takes!

Awesome thanks for the vote of confidence! We've gone up to 2'11" so far, but that's few and far between, typically we hang out around 2'3" to 2'6" for the time being :) Because one day, I tried to see how high we could go and got up to this height...went over it fine a few times, then brought out the video camera...well, of course I should have stopped on a good jump, they ALWAYS tell you that, but I wanted to get it on camera since we had never jumped that high before...and I got this lol...OOPSIE~!
