2010 Dressage Tests

Anyone looked at the 2010 dressage tests? They're really... weird. They might ride well, but they just seem weird. They all have some weird move that none of the tests have had before. Like the BN test B. Does a half circle at the canter. And when you enter you only go half way down the centerline. Then you turn and go on a diagonal. I guess i'll have to go ride them sometime this week, ,but they just seem weird! What do yall think of them?

They're definitely getting creative!

But I think they will ride fine - it'll be interesting at first though ;)

Yeah it will be! I pretty much had A and B for both BN and novice memorized and now they completely change it! I think it's a good change though. Those diagonal, 20m circle, diagonal, 20m circle tests were getting a little boring. Just going to take some getting used to!

Aw crap. They changed? I just started showing and the one thing I had going for me is knowing the two intro tests. Oh well.

If you're just doing intro level I think you will be fine.

And, I can't find the new tests, where are they?

Wow. Those tests are weird! Changing halfway through the circle? That's so odd. I am only doing BN this year so I only looked at those tests. I glanced at Prelim because someone I know is moving up to prelim this year (ugh she's so not ready. Half a season at training doesn't mean you move up to prelim). They're really tough!
