Wait, so do these change for EVERY event, even the schooling Mini trials?? I'm moving up to Very Green this year, but the old test for Very Green was Intro B and looked like this...

http://www.minitrialseries.org/downl...SDF_IntroB.pdf

Is it really changing, or are those changes just in effect for actual Horse Trials?

No, since you're doing the USDF tests - they won't change again for another year or 2 :)

Just USEA changed.

Dressage Tests

Dressage Tests

The cycle for the dressage tests is every 4 years. So the Dressage tests for Eventing are new this year 2010

  • Beginner Novice A & B
  • Novice A & B
  • Training Level A & B
  • Preliminary A & B & C
  • Intermediate A, B
  • Advanced A, B & C
The Dressage tests for Dressage are not going to change this year. They include:

  • Intro to Dressage A & B
  • Training Level 1-4
  • First Level 1-4
  • Second Level 1-4
  • Third Level 1-3
  • Fourth Level 1-3
The will change for 2011.

All tests used at USDF recognized shows are the tests listed above except for Intro to Dressage Test A and Test B.

The USEF The United States Equestrian Federation is the governing body for most horse sports in the United States including both Dressage and Eventing. The USEF holds the copyrights for all the dressage tests used except Intro to Dressage Test A and B. So the best place to check this is at the USEF site. www.USEF.org.

I am the webmaster of http://www.TheDigitalHorse.com I have all the tests online in digital animation. I sell memberships and software because I have purchased the copyrights.

I have posted the New USEF Dressage Test for Eventing Novice Test A on the site for free as an example so if you are looking for that test you are in luck.!

Good Luck this year everyone!

Smile Intro Test A and B

Hello again

These two tests are used by the USDF they are copyrighted by the USDF and they have not changed in amost 10 years and I have not heard they are changing anytime soon. Sooo don't worry the tests that change every four years are issued by the USEF.org they governing body of horse sports in the United States.

All the other tests Training Level through 4th level are issued by the USEF and they change every four years. The next cycle for the Dressage tests for Dressage is next year. The Dressage tests for Eventing changed this year. I hope this helps.

Robin.
