45 days under saddle and just weaned foal - first show

Well - the search for a new horse is over - Prospect's Atheana proved she is an awesome horse and younger son absolutely loves her - she has more than shown that she should be able to advance rapidly. She has had just 45 days under saddle and weaned her foal a month ago

She did her first show at Foggy River today at Entry Level - so many firsts - first dressage test with a few 7's, first time doing a stadium course and cross jumps and she handled her self like a star - just a few neighs but her behaviour and attitude were incredible. She placed 5th. So proud of both of them.

Here are some pics

Woo. Don't you love it when they jump right into it like old champs? I like her facial markings.

Wow, that's amazing that she just weaned her foal and got straight back into it. Those cross country jumps are way better than what we've got. I wish we had them.

Stunning horse and brilliant riding. I agree with Gidji that, that is amazing! She seems to enjoy being ridden, that is ALWAYS a plus.
