Thanks for all the replies.

I am going to be purchasing a jump saddle then finding a dressage saddle rather than an AP. I had to spend my saddle budget though so I'm no longer on the market. :( Oh well, at least now I know what to look for!

don't worry, i did dressage for a season in my jump saddle but i bought childs leathers so they were on the longest length and that was just perfect for my jumping length, i bought them and though "i'll never need to lengthen my stirrups" well i was wrong and i did everything a jumping length won't make that mistake twice
