Obviously, they are two types of upper level competition, but what is the difference between a CIC* and CCI*?

CCI's are 3 days, and CIC's are 1 day's

The # of stars ( * ) indicate the levels. CCI*, CIC**, CCI***, CCI**** etc, etc.

I believe, when you get to 1 star levels, you are riding against eventers from all around the world, any rider of any nationality can compete - that's my understanding, I don't know if it is correct or not.
