Clinic with David O'Brian - Update on Sky OTTB

Just finished attending the Pony Club Camp riding with David O'Brian. SKy my 5 yr old OTTB. This was her first time schooling off the farm since we took her off the track in Sept 09. She went cross country (pictures to come later) I am attaching a picture of our last day riding a stadium course she really caught on to everything this day. Just need to work on slower!

Nice. He's a great trainer!! I bought a horse from him a few years ago and he gave me a mini lessons when I tried him out. It was only about a 20 minute lesson and I learned more in that lesson than an hour with anyone else! If he wasn't 5 hours away I'd ride with him more often!

I am lucky as we get David O'Brian to come up at least once to twice a year to do a clinic for us. I really enjoyed riding with him this week, he explains it in ways that you can understand and it is awesome how he uses grid work. We have Steuart Pittman coming for a clinic in Sept and I am really excited to ride with him also I heard he gives a really good clinic and I am excited.

Here is a picture of our first cross country don't mind my position _ she was jumping very green this day I was happy to just stay on! I won the velco seat of the day.
