First Lesson

I'm getting my first eventing lesson Thursday! I'm a western rider, with a few English lessons under my belt, but I am moving to a mostly English barn in a month and a half, so my dads ex girlfriend, who is a top eventer, offered to help me out and give me lessons! For free! What should I expect from my first lesson? And if there are any other former western riders who switched to English/eventing, what was the biggest adjustment you had to make, aside from the different saddles?

You should expect to be taught to not use a chair seat, which happens way to often to Western riders bc of the build of their saddles.
You should expect to learn to sit the trot without stirrups and to post a faster trot.
You should expect to learn to post the trot without stirrups.
You should expect to learn 2-point.
You have your work cut out for you. =b

The hardest part for me switching from western to English was the difference in leg position

ETA: I'm jealous of your free lessons..... :)

I do know posting and riding 2 point! I'm probably not very good, but the woman I took probably 6 or 7 lessons from was an angry German and she didn't yell so I don't think I'm too bad, either. I definitely have my work cut out for me though!
