Some of mine with Sandie First season of showing in Eventing (Mini Trial, Intro level)...our first introduction into showing in general and Eventing in particular! ;-)
My 14 year old new zealand thoroughbred Eli aka Clifton Koops. We went through training level together but he had to be retired so now we just do dressage.
And my 5 year old OTTB Derby. I got him after Eli had to stop jumping and I've had him a little over a year. He'd been off the track 6 months when I got him with little training.
equineeventer: You have a Clifton?!?!? You lucky duck! A girl who competes for the young rider team in my area has a Clifton horse. He's amazing! All the Clifton horses I have seen have done really well.
Ok, I've decided I'm moving to New Zealand. All your horses are just way too pretty and look like awesome jumpers. And your CC tracks look so much better than mine.
They are really nice!! Some get quite large and demanding though! I tend to go to the nices one atm because of having a young, greener horse and one that's recovering mentally from a fall :P
They're all different The one with the ears on is my young horse, had her since she's 4, at Novice (Prelim) at the moment..she's small (15.2hh) but seriously scopey..bred to jump (4* eventer sire and GP SJer dam)..the bigger bay was my Intermediate horse but we had a fall and he lost the plot so we're slowly making our way back up the grades..the dark brown/black fellow is Cake, he was my Intermediate horse..won my first 1* on him..had to put him down in May but he was amazing, would jump whatever was infront of him..saved my butt quite often :P
Here are some from my XC at a 2' event(my first regonized event on Geof) and the SJ is at our first BN together! Here is the link to the pics of my BN XC! PhotoReflect - Jim Stoner Photography
yeah i can believe that! Ive always been short and when i was 11 i was riding a 11.3hh pony and the jumps looked as if they were above her ears!
