I also like your mare and the 3rd place mare over the winner, lol. The 2 y/os and 3 y/os are gorgeous too! I want them all...

Thanks guys! You should be the judges next year, lol ;)

They're judged on the movement: walk, trot, conformation: head/neck, frame, legs/feet, and then general impression.

Here's a link to the results for everyone:

The winning filly is full Hanoverian, it may be harder for her to make it at the top levels. Cav and the 3rd place horse are 1/2 TB, so I think that they have more of a chance... based on breeding alone. But, we won't know until they're climbing up the levels - it'll be interesting to see how they perform in the future.

MB, why you were chosen 2nd and chestnut 3rd? I mean the score is the same. Is there something else they take into account (like you have just one below 7 and other one 2)?

They break any ties based on the walk score, Cav has an AWESOME walk.

I knew we were tied for 2nd when we went in for awards, so when they said that they broke the tie based on the walk score I had a total "YEEEEEEESSS!" moment in my head. I knew we had a good chance of winning it and sure enough, we did :)
