gypsys first event - with photos

I took gypsy BN this weekend at a one day. She was AWESOME in dressage ! A little tense [prob bc I was too] and the footing was horrible so that didnt help. But we got a score or 32.4 which I was very happy with.

Stadium we got one rail. I was happy though because it was a tough course and she was pretty spooked by the plastic jumps. She usually doesnt get rails but at the first fence she stopped at the base and then jumped it. A couple others she didnt want to jump but she did anyway and after a few jumps she wasnt spooked anymore !

Sadly we did get E on xc =[ I was dissapointed but not mad because the beginning of the course was pretty hard for that level [even though they said it was an average course]. Over all she was a very good pony and she was really good about being braided and the whole show scene.

That chess jump looks scary to me. I can totally see why a horse would find it imposing.

The chess jump was very cool ! She got 5 strides out and was like OMG but she went and jumped it anyway =]

That chess jump is really cool, but I can see a horse finding it frightening. Heck both of mine would probably run in the opposite direction!

I rode her today after 2 days off, apparently 2 days is too many off for her lol

Wow - nice horse!!! And well done to her, she did amazing for her first event, especially those Showjumps!!
