Hair in bun for showing?

I event and can't put my hair in my helmet, so I usually just put it in a bun and put a hairnet over it. I was wondering how you guys do it to make it neat without a show bow, to make it look neat. Thanks!

I use a sock bun. Very neat, very easy. No hair nets needed and it's a very secure hairstyle.

I just put it in a bun, then a net over the top, then a discrete hair bobble to hold it all in place (not a scrunchy)
Looks like this and will stay in place all day
