Horrible day at Pine Top

My deep condolences to Megan Moore on the loss of her horse the Grasshopper. He collapsed at a jump and died of a suspected aneurysm. So sad to her, her father and team CEO.

What a fabulous team you were.

That's really sad.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

It is always sad when a horse goes, but at least it was quick. There is something merciful in that, at least.

My trainer stabled next to them and was in the Advanced division also. She said it was a very long, hard walk back to the barn knowing Hopper would not be there :(

ETA: Hopper was Megan's heart horse. She picked him up off the meat truck and did everything with him basically herself. This is the most devastating loss she could imagine.
