How to clean a Xcountry vest??

I have a tipperay (don't judge bought it off craigslist as my first one) vest that has a few stains on it. Can they be put in the washer or will warm water work the best? My vest it soilid one piece with velcro at shoulders and sides. It doesn't have the individual sqaures and the outside it cloth. Anyone know of the best way to clean a Xcountry vest? Thanks!!

Do the panels come out? I just take the foam out and chuck everything in the washing machine. (I have a blue Tipperary one)

If the panels don't come out I just hose mine off, squirt some soap and scrub then spray with the hose.
