I did it! I did it! :D

I jumped the entire BN course at our equestrian park INCLUDING the big scary max width table!

All you poo poo experienced riders can laugh at me all you like, but I am currently on cloud nine!

I was trialing a horse I am going to start leasing. He is a 13 yo Hanoverian/holsteiner gelding. About 16.1. He goes Prelim with his owner, but she is going to be out of town for the summer so I am going to ride him while she can't. I'm so stoked! (Not about all the extra hours I had to pick up from work to afford it, but it's worth it).

I'm planning on riding in the mini-event next month with him if all goes well with my new instructor so wish me luck! I'll get pictures of him up ASAP

Thank you thank you!

I've already conned my boyfriend into being show groom/photographer. I need to make the most of it until he realizes horse shows aren't fun when you're not a horse person.

I have a lesson tomorrow morning with him so hoping for another great ride

I have no idea what you are talking about -- mostly code words to me, but CONGRATULATIONS regardless! Sounds like a big achievement.

Congratulations! It is lovely hearing stories like this (breaking through to the next level and the confidence that stems from such an experience). I wish you the best summer with your lease. I agree, photos would be great!
