My Day Of Fox Hunting

Had a blast! My little "clique" went today and joined in on the fun before the snow decided to fall. We had a blast! There was a huge turn out today, which was wonderful and the Hunt was very thrilled and more than welcoming to us "cappers".

We joined the Field Hunt *that' the main group with the Whips, the Head Huntsman and the Hounds. Very faced paced, lots of galloping and lots of jumping! It was a great ride!

Here I am trying to get Nelson's bridle adjusted, lol, but he wouldn't stand still because the Hounds were running around and the horns were blowing to keep them together...Nelson was like "Ok...lets go mom! Come on!"

I have tons of pictures, going through them all!

Weird. We don't have anything like that here. Closest thing is shooting game off horseback.

It looks like you had lots of fun! And Nelson looks like he was being sassy! I love me some sassy older horses!

Also, I love that blanket on Nelson. The colors suit him.

LOL - Nelson was super sassy! He didn't understand the term "walk" or "Trot". The whole ride, he cantered, and did alot of Piaffing! Lol. But he was a very good boy, I was very proud of him - even though he was revved up for the whole ride, he didn't pass anyone! So, good boy!

It was great fun Savvy! Make sure you get lots of pics of your Hunt!

I guess its just a bad day to be a fox, you have to feel bad for the little guys. Maybe you should let convicts out instead and hunt those. ;)
