You two looked great! What a nice dressage test for having so short a time to learn and NO practice! Well done!

I am SO looking forward to your next show. It is.....when?
Thank you Allison!! and omg I was SO tense in that test (and you can totally see it in my shoulders lol)...I was so incredibly frazzled beyond belief and Sandie was picking up on it for sure (which is probably why we got "running" in our canter notes haha!) But I was pretty happy I remembered all but 1 movement in the test - and I remembered it late so I still managed to do it, just really late which earned us a 5 haha...better than nothin! I sent a nice email to the Event organizers asking them to pass along my thanks to those dressage judges for me. Technically I'm pretty sure they could have disqualified me from the entire show for performing the incorrect test but they were nice enough to let me leave, go learn the new one, and come back in and then nice enough to really judge the new test and not take into account the mistake I had made! It was very gracious of them!

I'm not sure when the next show will be, but I want to definitely move up to Beginner Novice for it! Now that I'll have the "first recognized" jitters out of my system, I think we can do it! We had schooled this course's BN jumps the weekend before without issue so I know we'll be good to go As always I'll keep you all posted!

Awesome job! Sounds like you and Sandie had a blast!

Most recognized HT's have an announcer. I know the one who announces for our events at the KHP is the same one that does WEG and Rolex :)

HAHA I noticed that! A lot of them are either British or fake a British accent! ;)

AWESOME and congratulations!!! You and Sandie are a great team and way to go on "breaking the ice" into the recognized events! You give me inspiration because I too have a 14.1 QH and his butt WILL be in an event

You're lucky a decent photographer was there and took such lovely photos. I think this one is my fav:

But you really can't go wrong with any of them. Except for maybe the price!! $20 for a cropped 4x6?! I'd give you a whole CD for $20... LOL
