Need pony club rally help!!

Going to a rally soon and need advice! What is the MOST impotant thing to remember? How to deal with our ignorant stablemanager? Tips for formals etc..... PLEASE!!!!!

HAHAHA I know your pain!!!! I have been in pony club for 4 years now... jeeze it seems so longgg.... Anyways. Formals. Read the formal sheet up and down and do everything on the level a head of you. Don't get caught up in the drama and focus on you and your horse while also helping your team. Make sure you are absalutly anal about everything and read your horse managment guide. Ask some of you upper level pony clubbers for help as well as your dc.

its kinda sad but im the highest rated ponycluber at our center :) at overnighters I know the halter stays on all the time but night too? Idk, someone told me that but I feel like its "too dangerous" for pony club. Anybody know the awnser?

I didn't do over nighters, but I would say remove it, what if your horse gets stuck in the hay bag in the middle of the night?? If the horse got out of the yard, there a gate to stop the horse leaving the grounds and usually they go straight to another horse or feed bin....just ask when you get there and maybe put a breakaway halter on.
Also, i'm not sure what your rules are there but here you MUST wear your helemt when your in the yard. At my pony club they let it slide if the graders (certificate graders) wheren't there.
Basically we did anything we wanted to because we were the older ones within reason though.

If in doubt, ask. Usually the kids know what's going on more then you think.

Make sure your horse is IMMACULATE! I have no idea how to deal with ignorant stable managers as mine was always AMMAZING.

Good luck, I hope you have a blast. Make sure you have all your brushes, that they and your horse and tack are spotless. Make sure to mark EVERYTHING of yours. Its been a few years since I was in Pony Club, but here they were always extremely picky about how clean your horse and tack were, and that everything was marked with your initials. Make sure that the whole tack area where your teams stuff is, is very neat and organized as well. Everything in its proper place. If you can, post pictures of the event. You'll do awesome.
