Thumbs up Nelson's And My First Event Of The Season

We had a great time! I am very proud of my boy Nelson aka Prime Target.

It started out pretty miserable. Raining, Raining and then Raining some more. Our dressage was in the rain, muck and we were both wet and miserable.

Our Dressage Test wasn't that great, but it was good. If that makes any sense? Lol.

I couldn't get him to track up due to the footing, and we were both miserable.

We scored a 37. Something %. We got alot of 7's and 1 8. I am very proud none the less! It would of been better if we didn't break our canter.

Then our CC phase. We went from 5th after Dressage to 3rd. We had 16 obsticles to jump, this vid shows just the last few.

And then - TA DA!! Our Stadium Round! We went from 3rd after CC to 2nd.

We won 2nd place over all, there were 11 in our category.

I have lots of pictures, but don't have time to post them since I have to get my booty off the couch and get ready for work.

Thanks for looking!

Well there chickie! All I can say is how proud I am of you and Nelson.
After all the two of you have been through in the last 5 months!
~ Job Well Done ~
I am also want to say how pleased I am you did so well with your stadium! Especially overcoming some of the fear produced from your mishap a while back. ~Great Job ~ Way to Go ~
You two looked really good and I hope that you will only get better and better.
Great work

Yay! You guys looked great! Congratulations on doing so well over all, AND doing great with the stadium part! :)
I love how me and you both have sassy older ponehs. None of this "I'm calm because I'm old" junk.
