Well I practiced my functional 3 pt. Last night and there wasn't anyone there to video it, so I'll have to see if I can get someone to tomorrow or Friday...but it felt good! I even popped over a couple jumps in it, and it was much easier to stay anchored and balanced over her back! And from what I could tell (when glancing at my shadow on the ground LOL -- I was outside with no mirrors!), I wasn't doing the "jelly back" with my lower back, because I was slightly in front of the vertical instead of straight up and down, and I was gripping more tightly with my calves and slightly with my thighs too, actually using the knee rolls which I NEVER do for whatever reason
Anyway, I am potentially doing another Combined Test Saturday AND a hutner pace on Memorial Day (WHEW busy weekend hehe!!) so I'm going to use that seat in my jump rounds and see how it goes for us!
