Augh, I so wanted to go to Mt Gravatt!! Stupid holiday being in the middle of the year when everything I wanted to do was on!
He did look so pretty all dolled up :)
Congratulations :) I remember my first ODE at Burpengary in '08... I got like 88% for dressage It was god aweful. The next one wasn't much better, but this year I had a different horse and it was awesome haha!
Hope your events keep getting better. Either way, you'll always have a ton of fun!

    No don't think I will be :(
The horse that I was eventing and show jumping for the last year has been retired from the more serious competition with me and is being used for an 8 year old for gymkhanas.
My horse is only just on 4 years now and has only started over cavalletti recently so he won't be near ready. I'm hoping that I'll be able to take him in the chickens at Burpengary next May though.

    Well done :)

I remember my first ode! It was terrifying to do! But stuck with it and got ok. Proud that you got the gutts and gave it a go! :) the picture of him on xc looking at that jump reminds me or my horse! Hhahahaahha, it's a "what the hell it that?! You want me to JUMP the horse-eating jump!!!" hahahaha

Sadly I wish he thought like that, he tends too over believe in himself ... *sigh*, It comes with him being a male. He was more like BRING IT ON..

I did too for the first 1 1/2 years, but then he goes "oh xc, time to be bad" :p and then I upgraded bit to a strong one so I would live :) ozzie is a champ out, he'll fall asleep at sj and dressage and people think "he's sooo quiet why does he need a strong bit in xc" then they see him in the warm up and they get it :p hahahhaah my new young green horse I took out to a xc and sj training day in a french link snaffle all day, had him 3 weeks, didn't know what he'd be like, was a champion :)
