I guess nobody likes the Lusitano horses J

Wow, Asgard72, that Lusitano is amazing.
I really like them, it's funny, I remember back in the day when Ilex used to event everyone thought she was a Lusitano.
She's a TB x Connie x Trekhener(sp?)

The most popular here in the UK are:
- Irish Sport Horse
- Warmblood x TB
- TB x Native (New Forest, Welsh)
- TB x Connie
- Trekhener(sp?)

Off the top of my head they're the normal boring lot.
I'd personally like to see a Comtois round an Intro.

One thing I want to do before I die is train a Paint or QH and go out Eventing at Novice/CCI** level.
Now to find a Paint or QH under £2,000 haha. As if xD

My sons are currently eventing 1/2 drafts - they are going to training level next year and one of the horses we believe should be able to do prelim or 1*.

We are currently breeding our own event horses - currently have 3 - 1/4 drafts/wb crosses - a weanling, 2 yr old and 3 yr old. We have 2 coming next year that will be 1/8 draft/wb/tb crosses - the ideal I believe.

I need larger horses for my sons to event - they are both over 6' tall and around 200 lbs - so pure tb's for the most part are way to small for these guys to event.

You will have a good surprise;) I have a friend that is really into Lusitanos and he is getting me into them also! I will try to bring him to this forum...
