Sydicating Neville Bardos!

This is a pretty recent development that I heard about while participating in the live chat with Sinead Haplin and Hannah Burnett on Eventing Nation - Boy Martin will be syndicating Neville with 10 shares costing $15k a piece, and $3k a year after the initial payment! I, for one, think this is an awesome idea. It will definitely help with Neville's upkeep and competition schedule, and it really allows people who might not be able to ride upper level or even ride much at all to be in the thick of the action! Of course, the buyers will likely all be eventers or even breeders (despite the fact that Neville is a gelding, it's always good to say you partially own a horse at that level). Anyway, I checked out some of the details at Boyd Martin's blog, check it out here! Boyd and Silva Martin

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it's a good thing? A bad thing? Do tell!

Sydicating a horse is always a good idea for these riders... dish out some of the costs that he's been having issues with. If I had the money I'd buy a share of that horse!
