    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, so glad they call it "Intro" in my area!! Haha But I still have to compete against little kids, and I feel weird! I'm almost 30 and I'm potentially stealing ribbons from some adorable little girl on her pony?! I wish they would at LEAST split them up into under and over 18 haha!

Ah.....for the good (bad?) ole days when training level (3'3") was the lowest recognized level. Pretraining (now known as novice) was unrecognized. Since the horses I rode belonged to other people, that is where they started.

I liked the trend of recognizing lower divisions so the entry level isn't so scary for the beginner horses and riders.

But TADPOLE??? Geeeze....couldn't they just stick with beginner novice and maiden?

Tadpole is kind of cute :)
As far as I know all the local events by me separate further based on age within the divisions. My sister is 12 and was never competing against any older riders as she was in a junior division.
Good thing for me cause I certainly would not want to end up competing against my little sister my first time out! :)
Oh wait......... she's far surpassed what level I'd be doing anyhow!
Its elementary all the way for me, for now! (Err, or tadpole....)

This is getting interesting. My instructor has decided to show the 4 year old horse she's been training, and my friend who is showing novice will be riding her greenie. I may be showing in the tadpole division, but I'll be competing with the sharks!! Should be fun. That would be a trip if I can beat my own instructor.

I did that at the first show that I took my horse to. She was showing a client's green horse, & didn't even place. I won the class. That was a fun "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" moment
