Exclamation Tipperary vest- need answers asap!

Is it true that the Tipperary protective vest isn't certified so can't be ridden in at sanctioned events? I need answers to this asap because I own one and I have a sanctioned event coming up on May 15. If I can't ride in this, what vest do you recommend for me to get? Need answers pleasee!!

You can wear them at sanctioned events, they just wont protect you as well as the certified ones.

I went to Rolex in search of the RP's... no luck :(

But consider these two, I tried both on and LOVED them! I'm still stuck on the RP though and will be ordering mine shortly . Both are ASTM approved and certified:

I use the Intec Flex Rider. I like it, and it is certified, approved and is not as expensive as the Rhodney Powell or the Charles Owen.

The Intec Flex Rider does just as well as the others :)
