For me its trot sets, trot sets and trot sets. Trot in fields, around the farm, in the arena, on the trails, just trot. Build them up with trotting. We do some canter and walk as well but for about 3 days a week its trot. Walk trot transitions, trot canter transitions, and leg yields at the trot. Its a good way for me that has worked.
I also have my 2 dressage lessons and 1 jump lesson depending on the cash flow that month. If I cut a lesson it is my jump lesson and we focus more on the dressage.
He gets one day off or one day out on the trails just walking.
