    Welcome to the darkside, grasshopper......

You are asking all the right questions and setting the proper goals. You will get there. By saying your stable is a "yard" can I guess you are in England?

Do you have a vehicle that's able to pull a small trailer (float)? If so, you will be able to find a used one, that isn't very fancy but solid, for a good price. It wouldn't take much, espacially if the owner would let you make payments.

Sounds like you have much of what you need to get started. Check youtube/ Jane savoie. She has good instructions for free there. Very helpful stuff.

Good luck and keep us posted on any progress. Trust me, eventing people are wonderful and down to earth. You will have a great time.

    Thank you :)
Yep, I'm in england sorry forgot to mention that.
I do not have a vehicle able to pull a trailer unfortunatley :( but I tend to use a friends one where I just have to pay petrol costs, so it is not soo bad.
Thank you, I will definitely be checking out youtube and am already signed up to Jane Savoie's newsletter.
I can't wait to get out there and even starting to train Rascal! I just need to get him some good jumping boots and maybe some polos for flatwork and I'll be ready to go! I'm soo excited I have his colours sorted and everything haha I already have a numnah and a head collar/ leadrope and a whip in his colour :)
    Thank you for the welcome
