The only problem that I can see there being is trying to find an indoor that is big enough.

In the video that Allison posted...that ring looks huge!

    It does look like fun.

To me it looks more like a jumper course with some different types of obstacles.

I realize they gallop while out on course when eventing but they way they are making darting corners and such really just looks like a jumper course.

Has anyone seen the Express Eventing competition? I thought it was very interesting!

Sunny, I just watched a few clips on youtube, I can't believe how HUGE Indoor Eventing is, everywhere but here in the you.S! Lol.

I am thrilled to see how popular it is in GB, that's awesome! And they dominate in the sport of Eventing.

It's almost like a short course - they do their dressage first, then their stadium and XC mixed together. But I love how popular it is! I love seeing Olympic Eventers take part in this particular comp, now this needs to trickle to our area eh!

Olympic Canadian Eventers are doing it and GB - now where's the you.S?

I have one year of Express Eventing on DVD, it was the one Ollie Townend won I believe.

I really like the concept, with the "pit stop" between stadium and XC. Just imagine how confusing it would be with all of those jumps! I know on my DVD there are at least three or four riders who either come to a complete stop or have to circle a few times to figure out where they are.

I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose of the XC phase but still cool none the less. It is similar to a Derby course.
