What helmet do you use for xc?

Wow, the choices are endless since I started riding again! When I competed 7 years ago, there was not this much technology out there! So what do you all use for xc? I'm looking at the Charles Owen Pro Racing II or the Tipperary T Series T2, but know nothing about them so if anyone has better suggestions, please share!

I have the Charles Owen J3 Jockey Skull, I really like it. It is comfortable and does it's job.

I would love to get the new Charles Owen Pro 2 Skull, they look great, come in different colours and I really like the idea of the ventilation.

I have the Charles Owen J3 skull, and I love it. I have been eyeing the Charles Owen Pro II skull, but waiting for it to go on sale.

Whichever helmet you choose to go with, just make sure it is comfortable and works well for you.

^^ Agreed!

However I would lean towards the Charles Owen, personally. I like them much more than I like Tipperaries.

I have a Charles Owen jockey skull cap as well. It is VERY light weight compared to over skull caps I've tried. I find it very comfy as well. The price was also on the lower side compared to other brands & models. Overall, I definitely recommend CO skull caps!

Thanks guys! I think I'm going to go with the CO Pro Racing II since it's the same price as the CO J3 but has ventilation (in NC where summers are brutal). Thanks again for the input!
