WOOT! A Pleasant Surprise!

When I got home from work today, I found a large yellow envelope sitting in my mail box. Addressed to me, seeing that it was from our local Michigan TEAM Eventing Association, I was curious to know what it was.

I opened it up, and found a large Ribbon in it, with a note stating that Nelson and I placed 3rd overall for Beginner Novice, Senior Rider.

I was so thrilled! I am so proud of my Nelson!!!

Here are the ribbons we accumulated over the 2010 season -

From left to right:

2nd place at Skyline Stables for BN
5th place for our Team "The Wild Things" at the Honey Run Team Chlng
3rd place overall for BN for the 2010 TEAM Eventing Season
1st Place for Indavidual for BN at the Honey Run Team Challange
2nd Place for BN at the May Canter Benefit.

The one who placed 1st for BN accumulated 29 points. I accumulated 19. Cannot remember what the points were for 2nd place. I only did 3 events this season....lol. Think of how many points we would of accumulated if we did more!

So here's to hoping for a successful 2011 season at Novice!
