    Thank you!

I'm trying to hold onto as much as I can with Nelson - he is 21 now and turning 22 this April, so I don't know how much more he has in him, if you know what I mean.

I am waiting for him to tell me when he's done - and until then, I am babying him as much as I can. I don't know what 2011 Eventing Season will bring us, hopefully only positive outcomes, but time will only tell.

So, getting this 3rd place for BN may not be "much" for some, but for me - it's BIG, because it was accomplished with my Best Friend - Nelson. I can't believe it - 3rd place out of all of MI...for Beginner Novice. That's....something I will beable to hold onto and cherrish when Nelson is long gone. I'll beable to look back at this and remember our 2010 season together and our accomplishments.

I just wish he could live forever. I do. I wish I could hit the "Easy Button" and make him 10 again - so that we could have even longer together. I hope that next season we can move up to N, but if we can't - that's no big deal...just so long as we can spend another season together.

He LOVES to Event, he really does - and to take that away from him would break his heart. So, if that means we do BN until he retires - then so be it. I love this horse SO MUCH, he means the world to me.

So, if it means that we stay at BN - then that's ok :) We'll just strive for the AEC's and the Kentucky Team Challange and taking 1st, instead of 3rd :P

When I move onto the next horse.....I'll shoot for bigger stars, but for now - I'm content :) Just because I get to be with Nelson :)

    Congratulations MIE and Nelson!

What an amazing accomplishment. I wish you all the best of luck on the 2011 season.

Makes me really want to try eventing, it looks like a lot of fun. Too bad there are no instructors or Pony Clubs in my area.
