I was just wondering what kind of XC vest everyone has?

MBP- JEALOUS! I have to sell my vest first. But I may have to wait until after the first XC schooling of the year. I don't want to miss out because of a stupid lack of vest! lol.

Alex is really into talking in the third person right now, so bare with her.

Alex has a royal blue Tipp, but is going to get a black RP eventually, but is getting a new saddle first! :D!!!!

Drew it comes in the whole frekin crayon box of colors

Here is a link to pics of Alex in her vest! PhotoReflect - Jim Stoner Photography - Holly Hill Fall Horse Trials

I have the outlyne one and LOVE IT! I HIGHLY recommend it, even though it is pricey. Everyone seems to love charles owen and rodney powell but I've tried both of those and HATED them. They are just so bulky and uncomfortable. The aerowear outlyne forms to your body better than the others and is very comfortable. Nothing like a tipperary of course but after a few minutes I barely noticed I was wearing it. All other vests i've tried felt like turtle shells.

I dislike any vest that is not certified nor approved. I'd wrather have a "bulky" vest that has the stamps of approval on it, knowing that I'll be as best protected incase of a fall - than a vest that isnt bulky, and has not passed the tests to ensure my body's safety.

Woah, like a complete costum? Do you have pictruesssss?

And I agree with Kim(MIE), I would rather have a certified vest, that's why im in the market for one as of right now!

I was supposed to order a Rodney Powell, but with my season starting in a month it wouldn't be here in time. SOOO, I picked up a Tipperary. I'll be ordering a RP later this year though, for next season, then I will use the Tipperary for schooling.

^ if you have one, I agree!

I wish I had mine right now *crys*

SOON though! So excited!

My friends think I'm super weird. They love going shopping for human clothes but I freak out over tack shopping!

Are Tipperary's not certified? Sheesh, if I knew that, I never would have got one!
I got my blue childs one about three years ago and didn't really look into it. I started jumping and I needed a vest, and that was what everyone at pony club had, so I got it. Silly me.

i think tipperary has one vest that is certified.

the flexible ones with all the little squares are not ASTM certified, but they are beta level 1, when for xc your really want a level 3
