Your Cross Country Colors!

Ok, one of the better parts of eventing, getting your own colors! YEA! Mine are Royal Blue and Black and they look AMAZING on Geof's Mahagony coat!

I run in hunter green/navy, but keep it in check. I really don't like when people OD on color/matching. Color is on the saddle pad, reins and my bridle has hunter green padding. I wear white breeches, a navy vest and a black helmet always. My polo is either navy or white, but I have worn light blue (stable shirt) before.

Putting down a good run is more important than matching to me. But, here we are:





No green reins in this one, but you can see the green padding on the bridle

I OD on matching everything because then I know what's mine! LOL, buckets, tape, saddle pads, boots, crops, ETC. I'm with a team of at least 8 so I like having all my stuff seperate

Just black and white.
I'm not really into the whole color thing. Lol

Yeah I kinda have *cough* wardrobes for my horses- sad I know

There is
-navy and lightblue (most common as practically everything is that colour rugs/halters/buckets/grooming/boots/etc)
-royal and white
-Pink and black
-gray and black
-green
-black

Sky blue and black! =]
Pants are black w/ a sky blue stripe, pad is sky blue, shirt is sky blue, vest is black, helmet is currently blue, and my WoofWear boots are sky blue/ black. =]

Our main color is burgundy, but we've been known to use hunter green accents!

Stormy, if you want to OD on your colors - go for it. Your horse, your money, your time, your choice. If others don't like it, they don't have to look.

That's what I told my old coach too. I used to be Hot Pink for my colors and my Coach would be so embarassed about it. I told her "Don't like it, don't look"

LOL agreed! Part of the reason I love Eventing...because you can do it and people don't turn their noses up at you for it!!
