He was a TB sired in 1917, He was one of if not the greatest race horse of alltime. He sired several great champions in there own right: War Admiral and, Hardtack are two of his sons. And at age 22, he still looked in race ready.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

Man O War won 20 of his 21 starts. The one race he lost was to a horse called Upset(I think thats neat). He was not entered in the Kentucky debry but one the Preakness and the Belmont in his three year old year. He was a great horse and a prolific sire.

My horse has Mar O War in his bloodlines! There's a monument to Man O War at the horse park in Kentucky with some information about him - I took a photo of it when I was there, but can't find it now! I think his remains are buried there too ...

He was Dan Patch of the thoroughbred world. They called him Big Red. His favorite person was his groom. One heck of a horse.
