Overdose (GB) 2005 bay stallion

I'm just wondering if you've heard about him.

Overdose (GB) 2005 bay stallion

Owner: SCH racing (Zoltán Mikóczy)

Trainer: Sándor Ribárszki

Breeder: Whatton Manor Stud

Pedigree:

Sire: Starborough (1994) (Soviet Star-Flamenco Wave)

Starborough was racing in the colours of the Godolphin Stable. He raced between ages 2-4 years. During this time he competed in 12 races, out of which he finished first four times and placed second twice. Starborough was in his best form at age three. He placed fourth at the English 2000 Guineas and later he won in Chantilly at the Prix Jean Prat (Gr. I). His highest RPR score was 124, which he earned upon winning the St. James Stakes (Gr. I). He gained his victories at 1600-1800 meters.

Dam: Our Poppet (1997) (Warning-Upend)

According to racing records, Our Poppet started only one race at 1400 meters at the age of two; she did not place. Currently she has three fillies in training in England and France. They appear in smaller races and all of her offspring are race winners.

What's special about him?

He can really run!

Overdose was purchased for 2000 guineas by Zoltán Mikóczy in November of 2006 at the Newmarket fair. His buyer just took a chance for fun and as there were no other bidders he won Overdose. The horse seemd to have no big chance in races, but when he started training...

He has just turned to his 4th year and he has already started in 11 races and won them all! He has become a horse hero of Hungary and expected to be one of the best horses in the world. A book has been already publish about Overdose :)

Watch the video and you'll be sure he is not just a simple horse!

/Sorry I had some problems with the first post...and I can't edit it now :/ /

Im impressed! By both Horse and Jockey!

The horse was winning so the Jockey DIDN'T whip him! Thats awesome horsemanship by racing standards! More often than not when I watch a race even if the front horse is winning by 5 horse lengths, they're still laying that whip into them. Im really impressed by that!

And MAN! When that horse engaged himself there was no stopping him! Goodness! He was like a machine!! o.o!!

Thanks for the share!
