What is your Top 10 list & why (you don't have to list 10!)?
Mine is:
1-Man O' War - what can I say? Simply incredible in every way.
2-Ruffian - everyone loves her story. She was the greatest filly.
3-Dance Smartly - the only filly to win a Triple Crown.
4-Northern Dancer - 1 of Canada's greatest horses & 1 of racing's most influential sires.
5-Barbaro - no doubt he'd have won the Crown if fate hadn't intervened.
6-With Approval - another great Canadian TC winner.
7-Zenyatta - our current incredible gal!
8-Seabiscuit - who doesnt love this guy?
9-Secretariat - he rightly earned his place next to MOW. Can't wait to see his movie this fall!
10-Phar Lap - Austrailia's Red Terror!

Man o' War ~ Love him, you just have to.

Native Dancer ~ I've read so many Bio's on him and he is simpply amazing

Seabiscuit ~ Diamond in the rough

Barbaro ~ He was amazing, anyone could see that

Spectacular Bid ~ Also amazing.

Phar Lap ~ Austrailian champion. Sad story

Cigar ~ This guy was both gorgeous and good

Affirmed ~ No explanation needed

Discovery ~ Important Sire

War Admiral ~ Was a great horse. You can't have Seabiscuit without War Admiral.

Here is a pic of frostinoss at the racetrack in roma QLD. She just won her race...go lucy!!!!!! I don't think anyone has heard of her anyway as she has no been racing long :P and although the pic say "my racehorse lucy" she is not literally mine but I just take care of her when I go up to QLD as my mums friend owns her :)

lol I know im a freak but iv got 3 books on him including the walter farley (author of the black stallion) version & the newest bio; Man O' War: A Legend Like Lightning I was boarderline obsessed as a kid lmao He's amazing.

I'm reading all these lists and I can't help but wonder why Seattle Slew is not on every one!!!!!

I don't actually know who Seattle slew is.... ?
