Best racehorse by far I think that not many people know about. I have a collectors painting of this little filly and a novel written about her. She was truly great. Grand daughter of Bold Ruler and Native Dancer!

Mine are:

1. Secretariat - The greatest racehorse that ever lived! Watching videos of him running makes me cry.

2. Settle Slew - Amazing racer, undefeated triple crown winner, started off as an under dog.

3. Ruffian - Such a great filly, can't help but admire her for her amazing accomplishments.

4. Genuine Risk - 2nd filly to win the derby. Many other amazing accomplishments.

5. Regret - 1st filly to win the derby

6. Winning Colors - 3rd Filly to win the derby. Stuck it to the boys.

7. Northern Dancer - 1st non human in the Canada Sports Hall of Fame.

8. Barbaro- Amazing horse with a sad ending.

9. Mine That Bird - Derby winner, finished strong in the other Triple Crown races.

10. Man O'War - Just an awesome racer!

You'd be wrong. Just about everyone knows who Ruffian was.

I don't think she was the greatest racehorse ever, since she never really got a chance to show what she could do. She certainly had the potential.

You want the truth? You can't HANDLE the truth!

My old horse High was related to a famous race horse-Nothing as famous as the others listed above but to a Quarter Horse racer named Easy Jet. He had a lot of blood lines in Quarter horses and Tbs

My boy Texas is related to Secretariat (his great, great grandfather was bold ruler) Native Dancer (directly on the lineage), Man O' War (through his son War Relic), Dancers' Image and Raise a Native and he did well in racing- so he's my #1 lol.

#2 Secretariat, absolutely fantastic horse.

#3 Dancer's Image because he DID win the kentucky derby, but the title was taken as he was on pain killers (even though they were non-steroid)

#4 Man O War, of course

#5 Barbaro...sad story, good horse.

My top five :)
