Eva-Lasting Gobstopper thread

I know I have seen on here some kidding and some lambing threads. If this thread needs to be removed that is fine. My mare died in February. When she died I really took a liking to my partners goat kid. She was bread and is due to pop any day now. Eva-Lasting Gobstopper AKA Rabbit, has become my best friend and I want to share her breeding with everyone. Rabbit is a pure bred Lamancha goat. She is a product of elf ear to elf ear breeding causing her to have ears. Since we don't show we just milk and meat them we kept her. Here are some pictures of my girl. She is almost ready we think by the end of this week she will pop.

I am watching her like a hawk right now. She has been doing a lot of heavy breathing, digging, some contractions. She is very bonded to me and not my partner. When I go in she curls up in my lap and head pounds me when the baby moves. VERY uncomfortable and looks like it will be soon!

I spent a few springs lambing out a few hundred sheep and some goats too. Found a real soft spot for them (sshh don't tell my cows!) Good luck on the delivery for momma and kids!

ITS A GIRL! She was born at 7:20 tonight. We have named her Fireball. Since we name using a specific letter of the alphabet every year along with candy names. She is 9.5lbs. Both her an mom are doing good. As soon as I figure out how to post photos, I will get one up!
