    Oh! I need name suggestions...
    Bull is "DF Majestic King"
    Cow is "Ozark Mountain Queen"

DD is like "name her sharlallalal", we need help!

I like the idea of using March or Mae if it's a girl.
Have no clue for boy names, because it's going to be a girl! LOL!

I suck at names, but awww sooo cute!!! In a few years when we have some property and I can convince my husband that it's worth the money, I want to get a mini jersey for milk! I've wanted my own milking cow for a long time now, but I wasn't really keen on a full size cow, (yet I love large horses lol), then I found out that they have mini cows that have great tasting milk, in smaller quantities, good for a small family as opposed to a giant production line, so I'm totally excited to be able to have my own milk cow!

How old is she? She's totally adorable. Love her face. Can't wait to see baby pictures!

    Thanks girl!

I forgot to tell you guys she's only 14! Papers say she turns 15 in September. We were told she was 15, old either way but we are babying the heck out of her.

I love the idea of a mini milk cow, they are precious! I just don't have the time to milk one every day and we don't drink milk anyways... Ha ha! But I'd love to have one to make butter :).

Queen has been laying down all day but switching sides, no calf yet but her vulva has doubled in size, is more swollen and I see more show!

If it's a girl I'm thinking "Ozark Mountain Mae". Still don't have a clue if it's a boy...
Missy maybe well nickname mamma Cher for cherish! I don't like calling her Queen for some some odd reason...

Then you should just hope for a girl lol. I like the name. Ya, I drink milk, but my husband sticks with non fat, so he probably wouldn't touch it. He strongly believes in the grocery stores, and pasturized dairy products, so drinking milk from a family cow isn't something he's going to do. But I figure for me and our kids, it'd be worth it. Give her a big hug! So excited for you.

Oh those are good Missy! I'll pass them by DD, it's "her" cow, LOL!

No baby yet :(. She's napping in the barn but has some weird "hiccups" going on... I locked her in to protect "them" from any possible predators.
She didn't even mooove, :). She likes me!
She licked her belly and legs a lot today and kicked it a few times... DD got upset and hollered at her to quit, ok...
C'mon mamma! I'm ready to cuddle a calf!

    Cow names:

    Spam (unisex)
Othello the Moor (for a black bull/steer) ...please note clever pun, and Shakespeare reference...
    Winston Churchill
Leprechaun (for a mini cow painted green)
Aristotle (a thinking bull or steer)
Nijinski (a bovine that's either very graceful or very clumsy)

...if intending to eat, surname appropriately. Our first lot of Angus were called:
    Ella Wellington
    Harry Bolognaise
    Colin Curry
    William Stroganoff

All off to market last May, I still miss Wills, he was almost as good as my horses.

Our current cattle (Friesian steers) are called Batman, Pythagoras, The Pirate, Sergeant Pepper, Tiny Tim, Spot, Stripe, Charlie, and Chevron, mostly after body markings. Sergeant Pepper has a love-heart shape on his head, Pythagoras a triangle, etc.
