Mary Liz... Puff is around 2-3 months old. Finally has enough feathers to stay outside in the big house! I have heard that they lay green eggs?
Which of the many pictures here has the mystery chicken?

Our two layed green eggs! Kiwi layed deeper colored eggs then mango but they were both very green eggs. :)

    Silver Laced Wyandotte hen

Buff Orpington hen - RIP big and beautiful :c To add insult to injury the animal that killed her didn't even eat her, which made her death an unnecessary waste, not that I thought the stupid animal should have killed her in the first place.

My five red sex linked hennies as chicks

Just a random drawing of a chicken I did.

I raised him carefully from a chick on up and he turned out to be a really sweet rooster. He is getting pretty old now though, I think he is 7 years old. I don't know how long chickens live, but I hope he lives much longer.

We do have one mean bantam rooster though, he gave me a few cuts a week ago, very nasty little guy. I have to keep my eye on him constantly or else he'll take advantage of the moment, lol.

Well we had quite a day. I was cleaning the cage that the baby chickens are in. They got out into the big pen, and one of them slipped out through the chain link fence and was gone. She ran like crazy. I spent over an hour searching for her. I guess it is crazy, but there I was, a highly educated, 54 year old woman, crying over a $2 chicken. I had just about given up, when she came back. She was trying to get back in. I was able to catch her and put her back up. I guess that these babies will have to stay in the rabbit cage for a while. I don't know how the 6 barn cats missed out on chicken dinner. All is well that ends well...........

Oh no Celeste! That must have been scary. I certainly don't blame you for crying over a 2$ chicken! I think I would cry if something happened to our big brahma Roo
