    Surprise! baby

So ya. We have a surprise baby. Couple different options on daddy (oops). But it all turned out okay.

Reba (mama) is one of our bottle babies from last? Yr so she's a first time mom. Bit from all reports she's doing great super relaxed and baby is uber friendly lol.

PS....I totally called it when my mom sent me pics last week. I told her she looked preggo!

Gives me hope that maybe Booger WILL have a babeh. She sure is dang big enough! Haha

And of course Noel and her baby Tessie (niece named her and everything now has to have a name with e at the end)

    And Crazy Dolly

And Boogers baby last year the decidedly more Longhorn than Charolais Faith

Eta. Dolly, Reba, And Tessie all have the same daddy. A big ol black Angus bull named Obama. Lol and if Booger is pregnant too, her baby will also be half sister/brother to them

Reba's baby.....well.....its either Bully back home, a 2 yr old bull that my papa gave us that broke out after 3 days with our crazy ladies, or our neighbors bull that broke in. :) oops.

Those longhorn crosses seem to get those horns! Used to be a bunch of them across from me.
Babies are too CUTE.. I think the charlois are pretty cows.
But everybody seems to think it has to be angus . I would love a nice charlois and hereford.

Haha yeah. Faith (red and white heifer) seems to have gotten all the horns this time. Bully is her half brother from the same year and he just has little nubs (thank god). But yesssss I think charolais babies are THE CUTEST.

What has that cow done to deserve to reproduce herself?? Kidding, she'd make great steaks I'm sure!

Hahaha they do make some delicious babies rolfmao

    Right now building this herd,

Booger, Noel, Dolly, Reba and Faith will be the stayers and we're planning on getting about 10-15 more head to start off for Bully.

All the babies will either be sold (bull calves) or possibly moved to our other herd (heifer calves) which has about 80 head and a much more mature bull.

Then we'll rotate the bulls around ((big daddy the mature bull)(Bully)(and Curly my uncles bull)). To keep the lines spread out and prevent too much inbreeding.

But ya Booger and Noel have done pretty well in having nice big calves that sell heavy at market
