Since you have a turkey, I have a few q's maybe you could answer.
We have two barn guests, they showed up on tuesday. They are two white turkeys, kind of small, scragly looking with feathers missing. I'm pretty sure they escaped or were let loose, they are white and are very social. They didnt care that I was a foot away watering the sheep.
How do I tell if they are males or females? What do they eat? I don't wanna buy a huge bag of poultry food if they might just up and leave. Are they migratory or one they find a place do they usually stay?
They fit in with the BOs hodge podge of animals, but if they got loose I want to find their owners, and at least feed them. I was thinking about sticking them in a stall away from the sheep and goats, so they can eat food, but Im not sure if they'll be ok locked up.
