Antique Grain Fanning Mill, circa 1870's

I have an antique, what I believe to be a grain fanning mill in the loft of my barn. It looks about like this:



However it is partially disassembled, and appears to be a hand crank piece rather than motor driven.

I have no idea what to do with it. I'd really like to get it out of my barn loft, but it weighs an absolute ton. Does anyone know someplace that collects this type of old farm equipment that I could call to come get it?

Do you have a local museum that might be interested in it? It may be a tax deduction for charitable contributions if you donate it.

Vida - that's what I was hoping for, a museum to donate it to, however so far I haven't been able to locate anything. :(

Grayshell, that's probably what I'll end up doing - just post it free for whoever will come get it. I hate the thought of it just going for scrap though. :(
