I show in a dressage saddle rather than a Cutback as I too don't often ride english. It is much easier to adjust to it on a walker than a trotting horse that's for sure!! I have worked my way up to cantering in the english over the winter lol

If we weren't going for whole weekends I would just show western as Sable is more of a western horse, but we're there and so I may as well!

Ha ha enter all you can in one weekend! Improves chances of placing in something at least.

P.s. Does anybody know if I could register her even though I can't track down her parents and the breeder where she was born refuses to contact me back? Could I register her with positive DNA testing? I contacted MFTHBA and still no answer...

I live just a few miles from the MFTHBA headquarters, I do no think that you can register her without knowing who her parents are and having a breeders certificate. They have to be DNA'd to be registered, but you would have to know who her parents are to match her up with.
