    Got my boy to gait!

I have never had a gaited horse but have started lessons. Today I took a chance and got on Ricky and got him to gait. Typical horse, he was a bit wanting to do his own thing, but with cueing he got back to work. Ohhhh ... the feeling of being centered while gaiting is like pure heaven ... never felt a thing like that before. I could have gone on forever, but I tired him out. I am so happy!!
