I've never heard anyone say not to gait a gaited horse. That's crazy! However, I hear people all the time tell me not to canter my TWH because it will ruin her gait. That's not right. A horse is a horse; if they canter let them canter, if they can gait let them gait, if they can trot let them trot! Oh by the way my, horse has a wonderful gait, . Okay, I think you got my point, lol. Didn't mean to get carried away!

I'm glad at least some people see why I don't want to put a lot of work to keep him from gaiting! :)

Always keep your head up, but be careful to keep your nose at a friendly level.
