Is he gaited at all? Video

Trying to find out if Sundance is gaited or not. He's 4 and tends to park out sometimes but not as much as a saddlebred. He does it on his own.
In the video he had only been rode about 3 other times but not loose like that, I had always left the lunge line on him so I could still control him somewhat. He did excellent and hubby says he's very smooth. Any ideas?

Looks like a trot to me, both lunging and when ridden. I has a paint mare who when her back is tired from a long ride will park out and all she has is paint and quarter horse. She also has a very smooth trot.

Another vote for trotting. Parking out isn't just for gaited horses; any horse can be taught to park, it's only correct for gaited ones. :)

He's cute regardless.

I don't see any gait.

Regarding "parking out" is that also done with Park Horses (Morgans and Arabs)? How about trotting ASBs?

Yup, all ASBs do it. Hackneys too.

I do not see a gaited horse.

ETA: for those not wanting to watch a bunch of still shots before they see actual video, walking on a lunge line starts at 1:09, walking under saddle starts at 1:39, trotting is shortly after that.

As I mentioned on one of your 10 or so other threads all about this horse, he is not a gaited breed. All I see is a dubiously-bred paint type horse moving uncomfortably. You need to get his hind end checked out by a vet. Love your horse for what he is and stop trying to make him into something he is not.
